Chatsworth is joining The Robes Project circuit this year. It means we join six other churches in offering homeless people accommodation for one night a week - between us, we cover a whole week - for three months.
The Robes Project is a charity that started in 2007, helping homeless people not just find shelter, but provide welfare and "enabling them to access services and accommodation"

It's not possible to 'just turn up', Robes receive referrals and interview people who are ready to access the circuit. From there the churches provide a shelter for the night - a hot meal, accommodation and breakfast - in the hope that a permanent solution can be found.
It's our first time, and our cooks are at the ready...
